Touchdown is pilot software. Since pilots have faces, you can upload pictures of them to Touchdown.
Take a look at the video below to find out how to do this.
The page's look has changed a bit since we made the video, but the steps are still the same. Also, make sure to watch in HD.
To add an aircraft registration, follow the steps below.
Go to www.touchdown-logbook.com and check in.
Click on 'Settings' at the bottom of the page.
Click on the 'People and aircraft' tab.
Under 'Add aircraft', fill in the registration with all necessary dashes ('-'). In the dropdown list, choose the correct aircraft type.
The 'Aircraft Type Designator Search page' can help if you are unsure of the correct type designator.
If possible, select a picture of the aircraft with the button right of the type designator dropdown list.
This greatly enhances recognizability for other users. Click on the 'Add registration' button.
First possibility: Touchdown does not have any aircraft in its database with the registration you have indicated.
The registration is added to the database and available for you to choose when adding and editing a flight.
Second possibility: Touchdown recognises the registration you wanted to add to the database and shows you the match.
If the aircraft shown isn't your aircraft, send us an e-mail. If it is your aircraft, confirm by clicking on 'Confirm this registration'.
To add a banner picture on your index page, follow the steps below.
